On September 21, 2024, many families, friends and Communities across the USA turned out to enjoy a fun-filled 9th Annual Lao Boat Racing Festival in the beautiful city of San Diego, Mission Bay. On behalf of LCCC-SD, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all LCCC-SD members, Executive Team, the Board of Directors, the advisors and the webmaster who worked tirelessly to put this event together. A deep gratitude to our volunteers, the Manisouk family, all the boat racing teams for your involvement and participation. Thank you to all the vendors, SDDBT for running the race, Nang Heua, Keo Vilay for video taping at the finish line, the play by play Announcer, Mr. Vantha Kenemixay, and all the artists and performers.
Thank you Councilman Kent Lee for taking the time to attend and for proclaiming September 21st as Lao Boat Racing Festival Day in San Diego.
